Jesus Christ!
On December 6, we are uniting worshipers, intercessors, evangelists, and disciples from across Hampton Roads and the DMV—representing various ministries, small groups, and communities—for a creative, evangelistic flash mob. This will be a Holy Spirit–led outreach in public spaces, beginning at Lynnhaven Mall and continuing to Walmart, where we will worship, pray, share the Gospel, and demonstrate the love of Jesus to our community.

Who We Are
Refuge of the Rising is not a program, a church extension, or another institutional initiative. We are a Kingdom assignment — a movement of surrendered disciples who live and move by the Spirit of God, calling people back to the simplicity, purity, and power of following Jesus Himself. No fluff. No politics. No show. We want what Jesus wants — His heart, His mission, His harvest: souls.
We believe the full Gospel of Jesus Christ — not just in word, but in demonstration. We expect Jesus to be exalted, the Gospel to be preached in power, and the Holy Spirit to confirm the message with miracles, signs, and wonders. We believe deliverance, healing, transformation, and encounter are not optional — they are the natural overflow of the presence of God.
